Disgusting service from the receptionists. They are rude and spiteful. If I spoke to someone in the street how the receptionists talk to you, I get a punch in the jaw. And they've kicked me out for "abusive language" on here.... the reason I wrote a review in the first place is because of the verbal abuse I received being told I was stupid and should read the website better! Being told that just because I'm pregnant I'm nothing special and extra care isn't needed ... even though it is and it has been stated by the Maternity Unit at Leictester Royal as my 1st daughter ended in death and the next 2 were miscarriages! Tell me, what qualifies a receptionist (ADMIN) to make those decisions? Nothing, exactly! Where's my justice in being verbally abused?!?! And medically neglected?!?!You can expect a visit from NHS inspectors soon enough, I've complained above your heads about the way patients are being treated by the snobby receptionists. You are soon to be inspected anyway for causing the miscarriage of my last baby! Becuase you refused to let me see a doctor when I need to, you even ignored the demand to let me see a doctor from both a midwife and maternity warden from the hospital! Just hung up on them!! So they can kill 2 birds with 1 stone and assess the seriously falling standards of this disgrace of an establishment! I refuse to be treated this way!
Update - surgery has been excellent in recent weeks! Seen a massive change in the doctors! I mean its 10 fold better! Changed from 1 star to 4 star! Hope it continues!Finding it difficult with the surgery, I had initials issues with them, as they sent me a final warning letter for been rude, which I was not at all, and now I was booked in for an injection for a painful tennis elbow, and now i have to wait a month for another appointment. I actually felt picked on because of the previous issues, I do not have a leg to stand on, but have complained to the medical board, as im in extreme pain and they advised hospital will not see me.
With holding meds for a diabetic without a doctors request u asked a receptionist is this ok and all u get is i am a receptionist then u say why u holding it then then thay say u being rude and give u a warning stay away from this trash surgery
The doctors are really good and kind. Receptionists are extremely rude.
The receptionists have been very impolite to both myself and my husband on numerous occasions and it is almost impossible to get an appointment. Last year i got very ill and as a result ended up to anti-depressants. Despite being told that in order to reduce or change the medication i am on i would need support from my doctor i have found it impossible to get an appointment to reduce my medication and have been stuck on it unchanged for the last year.
